1 What is the round wire flattening process?


Traditional conveyor belts are usually woven with metal wires of circular cross-section, which limits the flatness of the belt surface and is prone to vibration and slipping during material conveyance, especially for precision components or lightweight materials.


The process of round wire flattening, also known as Jiaoyang, involves using specialized equipment to flatten round metal wires into a flat shape, and then weaving these flattened metal wires into mesh belts.


During the process of flattening round wires, precise calculations are made under the scorching sun to control pressure, temperature, and speed, ensuring that the properties of the metal wires are not compromised while achieving a high-quality flattening effect.

What are the advantages of the 2-flat yarn process?


Increase the contact area to enhance the stability of conveyance

Compared to round wires, the contact area between the flattened metal wire and the material is greatly increased, making the material less prone to sliding or rolling during conveyance. This makes it particularly suitable for inclined conveyance and the transmission of small items.


Reduce material stagnation and lower maintenance costs

Traditional round wire woven metal mesh belts are prone to trapping fine materials, which can affect equipment operation over time. Flat wire woven mesh belts have a smoother surface and smaller gaps, significantly reducing material trapping issues.

The metal wire, after being scientifically flattened under the scorching sun, has its cross-sectional shape altered to distribute stress more evenly.
